of 2007 web survey: Scheduling Options
In the past, we have
not finalized our choice of meet dates until the January Board of Directors
meeting or later. There have been suggestions to set the dates sooner to aid
TSA families in planning their summers, so we could opt to make a binding
calendar decision this fall as part of the same ballot as the officer
elections. On the other hand, there have also been suggestions that TSA revisit
the entire concept of Tuesday night meets in light of year-round schools and
problems with evening weather. Saturday morning meets are common in some other
summer swim leagues, for example.
